My favorite TV program
There are many America TV programs and my favorite one is “Sex and The City”. Not only in America, there are also lots of women in Taiwan like this TV program. Sex and The City has sixth seasons totally and the first season was produced in 1998. The final season ended in 2006. The people who don’t like or agree about this program will feel it is just a program talks about sex, males and famous brand. In many women who like this program, include my friends and I, think it is a good program because it show us many things that we are shy to discuss, such as sex, and it also show how to social with other people and etc.There are four main characters and that are Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. They are the best friends and every one of them has difference personalities. Carrie has a good sense of humor and emotional and she is a columnist, so she will write many columns about love and those stories, feeling and inspiration are all form her 3 best friends and their life. Samantha is outspoken and she always try to be herself. Also, she is one who likes having sex the most. Samantha won’t hide her mood. For examples, she will tell you what the problems are when she felt unhappy to you. Miranda is a successful businesswoman but sometimes she doesn’t know how to express her love and feeling. Charlotte is very romantic and always has lots of beautiful imagination about her love or marriage.
Sex and The City are similar to many females life, but Taiwan women are shy to talk about their sex life or their opinions. This program shows that how to social and get along with other people, friends and lover. Even though this program has some sex plots, but the most important thing is that this program want to express the emotion, like happy, sad, angry, depressed and love with everyone who surround with us. It is why I love this program, if you are attentive to what this program wants to express, you can learn something from it.
